Police said three football players were arrested after guns, marijuana and heroin were found in the locker room at Monessen High School's football stadium Thursday night.

"The coaches notified us that they had suspicion that there were actually some illegal drugs brought into the stadium locker room of the football program. At that point, the coaches took it upon themselves to check the lockers. And when they checked the lockers, they came across suspected drugs and two firearms," Monessen Police Chief Mark Gibson said.
